Andrew is a writer and a co-founder of the blog, The Art of Cooking & Drink. He lives in New Orleans with his wife and 2 kids.

Andrew has been a regular contributor to The Art of Cooking since 2008. He has written over 120 recipes, and has been featured in more than 50 cookbooks.

Andrew is also a frequent guest on cooking and travel/travel-related radio shows on National Public Radio (NPR), including the Great Food Minute, and a frequent contributor to the Travel Weekly Traveler’s Guide.

Andrew writes cookbooks, but he’s also done a couple of other things: He was the co-host and co-producer of the award-winning weekly cooking show, “The Cooking Channel,” and he has co-written a number of travel memoirs, including his first, “The American Way of Travel.” His other nonfiction book is “The Best American Cookbook,” which will be released late in the summer of 2010.

Andrew writes and produces for Cooking Channel and has his own syndicated radio show that airs on numerous radio stations throughout the country. He also hosts and produces his own television show called The Andrew Zimmer Show, which airs on a variety of television networks.

In other words, the cookbook and his radio show are basically two sides of the same coin. Cooking Channel is the home of home cooking, but Andrew has gone on to write travel memoirs. The best travel memoirs I’ve read are from Andrew, like The Best American Cookbook.

I don’t think there is a cookbook or a memoir that I have read as good as Andrew’s. I think his book, The Best American Cookbook, is one of the bests because it clearly shows that he is trying to write about the most difficult recipes and the most labor-intensive ones. As a result, his book has a lot of recipes that I could have cooked at my kitchen table, and many that I hadnt.

Andrew is one of the many great American cooks we have here on the team. He is definitely one of my favorites because he is so opinionated and he makes me want to cook more. When I was making meals for the team, I would bring all of his recipes to the kitchen so we could all get our opinions on the recipes.
