The food pyramid is meant to be a rough guide. It’s for people who are just starting out, but it doesn’t tell us what we should be eating. It would help us avoid eating too much, and it would also help us figure out what foods are good for us.
The food pyramid is actually a more complicated system, because it lists foods based on a calorie count, but it also lists foods based on nutritional properties, which are measured in nutrient density. Nutrient density is a measure of the amount of nutrients per unit of weight. So the food pyramid is a guide, but it doesnt actually tell us what to eat on a daily basis.

At least, I think I do, and I am not able to remember the last time I ate this much of any of them.
I know I’m going to get the same question as everyone else, but I’m going to answer it anyways. The vegan world is much more organized than the human world. That’s why it’s called the vegan world. We don’t have a food pyramid of vegans. We are not a pyramid of vegans, we are a pyramid of human things. If you want to know what a vegan eats, the best thing to do is go to the vegan section of your favorite supermarket.
